Cheryl Cole looks to the future...

When Cheryl Cole touched down in London with her wedding ring still noticeably absent, many speculated it meant the end of her marriage to footballer Ashley. Hours later and it was confirmed – the X Factor beauty had decided to separate from her husband of three-and-half years.
Attention has now turned to the division of the couple's estimated £22 million fortune.
It is being reported that the 26-year-old is unlikely to walk away with half of the Chelsea star's fortune – Ashley is paid £82,000 a week.

According to the Express, any settlement between the couple, who chose not sign a pre-nuptial agreement, will take into account the length of Ashley and Cheryl's marriage, who was worth the most when they wed, and her wealth in her own right – thought to be £10 million. The fact that her career is on the up, and the things the couple built up together during their marriage, will also be taken into account.

It's said that after leaving a number of messages begging his wife to save their marriage on her phone, Ashley has told Cheryl she will have to battle to get any of his money, and blames their marital troubles on her mother Joan moving into their Surrey mansion, the Mail reports.
Meanwhile, according to the Sun, Cheryl had contemplated a trial separation from Ashley, 29, but was warned by aides that could end up damaging her own career.

In the end, the Girls Aloud singer intentionally chose to use the word "separating" out of respect for Ashley.
"Cheryl is leaving Ashley, there is no doubt about that," a source told the paper. "But she wanted to offer his some hope.""She is worried about the effect the split will have on him…Friends say she should put herself first. But she does not wish to be cruel or malicious.
"The Newcastle-born brunette is now expected to take up Simon Cowell's offer to star in the US version of the X Factor, and bookmakers are already predicting she will move to America.

Before flying back to the UK on Tuesday, Cheryl reportedly told her husband she wanted a divorce and wanted him out of the house before she got home. Her decision followed a string of infidelity allegations – five women claim to have slept with the sportsman during his marriage.

Cheryl's band mates have said that are supporting her "in private" while Chelsea football club said it continued to offer Ashley - said to be devastated by the split - its full support.

Is he really back?!!!

Golden Boy has returned. But for how long? No one can tell.

Tony Tetuila; the third member of the now defunct popular Hip Hop group of the late 90s called Remedies is now in the country after many months of sabbatical in the UK.
The last time Tony was heard of was in the last quarter of 2009 when he was said to have celebrated a decade-year of his singing career.

The party which held in London was reported to have been a big flop as the venue was scanty and not even the presence of the few Nigerian artistes who were in London at that time had showed up.

The dancer turned singer for now defunct group earned the moniker, ‘Golden Boy, when he dyed his brown hair to gold and began a solo career. He was spotted hanging out at the VIP section of Aqua 27 Lagos club where Kefee celebrated her birthday on a Friday in February.
He chilled with the likes of Zaaki Azzay, Comedian Princess and Tu Face who were there to celebrate with Kefee.

Before now, it was said that the singer was facing tough times in London and could barely feed comfortably just like his counterpart, Olu Maintain who is yet to return.

Tony’s biggest hit in his solo career was the song, ‘My car’ which grew on to become a national anthem. It was released in 2006.

The Making of "We Are the World" (The Haiti Version)

It's been 25 years since Lionel Richie wrote "We Are the World" with Michael Jackson to help end hunger in Africa.
With producer Quincy Jones on board, musicians like Stevie Wonder, Kenny Rogers, Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Diana Ross, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen were eager to lend their talent to the cause.
The single skyrocketed to the top of the charts, won four Grammys and raised millions to help those in need.

After the devastating Haiti earthquake, Lionel and Quincy decided it was time to bring back "We Are the World." More than 80 of the world's most talented singers joined the project—including Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Justin Bieber, The Jonas Brothers, Pink, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Jay-Z, Jennifer Nettles, Jennifer Hudson and Lady Gaga. "I've never seen so much excitement—Tony Bennett, Snoop Dog talking to each other.
Lil Wayne, Barbra Streisand talking to each other," Lionel says. "Everyone stepped up, and it's beautiful."

Acording to Lionel Richie, "When the original single was recorded in 1985, there was a sign at the studio that read, "Check your egos at the door." This time, Lionel says everyone's egos disappeared once they were reminded why they were there. "It lasted for about 20 minutes," he says. "Once you see the kids standing on top of their homes, on top of their families—because they're still in the rubble. ... Now, the egos stop. You absolutely know what you're supposed to do when you're there."

Despite the amazing talent in the room, Lionel says many of the performers were actually nervous. "You get in there and realize the new group can't really perform in the circle. In other words, they're nervous," he says. "We had to have three separate rooms [for soloists to record in]." The plan, Lionel says, was for the new recording to remain a secret.. "Right after we finished the first verse, everybody's Twittered."
Lionel says the new performance brought back memories of working with Michael Jackson back in 1985—and shares a story he's never told publicly. "We're writing the lyrics of 'We Are the World' the first time," he says. "I'm lying on the floor, and I see out of the corner of my eye some records falling over. There's a python."
Lionel was rattled, but Michael was excited. "[He says]: 'Oh, there he is, Lionel. I found the snake,'" he says. "It's an albino python that he couldn't find in the house."
To honor his friend, Lionel found a way to put Michael in the video. "He had to be in it," he says. "So what we did was we have Michael singing [his] exact same part with the footage, and Janet, his sister, singing along with him."

Sassy's View: "Well maybe this brought back a kind of unity and oneness to the over 80 stars but I still insist the song should have been left alone"

"We are the World" should'nt have been remade.... Jay-Z

Jay-Z wasn't a big fan of the "We Are the World" remake, which debuted at the Olympic opening ceremonies Friday to benefit Haiti earthquake relief."I know everybody is gonna take this wrong: 'We Are the World,' I love it, and I understand the point and think it's great. But I think 'We Are the World' is like [MIcheal Jackson's] 'Thriller' to me. I don't ever wanna see it touched," Jay-Z told MTVNews.com Saturday night at the 2 Kings dinner in Dallas.

So many Critics agree with the rapper. Sniped The Washington Post of the song, which featured Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, "The updated take was horribly oversung... save for the 21st-century rap verses added toward the end of the track." Wrote the New York Times, "Lil Wayne, you're no Bob Dylan.... as a piece of work, [the song] has all the pitfalls of a Hollywood remake." (OMG on yahoo features)

Well if you ask me, I'd say "He's right".... though the remix is well loaded with about 88 stars or thereabout but it should have just been left alone..believe it!
