The journey started in agony... The thrills and pangs of pain I carried for nine months
I journeyed on with bliss beaming with joy at the thought of carrying you in my arms someday…
And when the months clocks nine, Oh what a day... Hah what a pain!
I screamed, shouted and cried with all that is in me… anything to numb the pain I feel… just anything will do…
And then here you are… just at the sight of you, all my pains dissolved… it was like they never existed
I have always longed for the day you will nestle in my cozy arms encircled therein as you share in my warmth…
I have always looked forward to the day I will hug you so close to me, as we feel the beats of our hearts throbbing in symphony as our breathe goes with the rhythm of the flow.
I have always longed for the day I will have you clustered at my back – my heap of joy – as you rest your little sweet head in the hollow of my back... Oh yeah… if only it can go into my spine and seek more comfort there.
Oh my toddled tot… my noodle toddle tot…
God’s heritage and my flowing source of joy and happiness…
My reward from the Lord though young but tomorrow’s greatness
Placed high above adults and mighty men…
With humility so striking and innocence so sincere…
With arms as strong as daddy and gusto as healthy too…
With cheeks as chubby as mummy and a mood as flaming too…
Oh my bundles of boundless joy… my blessing and portion… assigned to me to watch over
Come cuddle in mommas arms, while she rocks you with all the care in the world
Come snuggle in dada’s arms while he sings to you a sweet lullaby
Come nibble my little breast as our eyes lock in a speech only we can understand
My sweet small men with twitter as promising as the future…
For you I will… even when others let go
You are my blood and I can’t wait to have you all to myself.
